Back in 2018, my wife Marina and I—Adam—founded Dryer Vent Cleaning Comapany LLC right here in Chino Hills, CA. Like many small businesses, our journey started with a frustrating personal experience that turned into an opportunity to serve others better.
It all began when I hired a local company to clean the dryer vent at our home. Over the phone, they quoted me $80. But when the technician finished, the bill jumped to $350. He told me the lower price only applied if I also had my air ducts cleaned—something they hadn’t made clear upfront. I remember thinking, “There has to be a more honest way to do business.”
At the time, I was still working full-time as a HVAC and appliance technician but constantly looking for a path that felt more meaningful. That experience sparked an idea: what if I could offer the same service—but better, more affordable, and more transparent? So I invested in some equipment, cleaned vents for a few friends and family members, got certified, and just like that—Dryer Vent Cleaning Company LLC was born.
